Know More About Electronic Air Filter And Its Advantages
That air conditioning systems control the temperature in a house or room is a common misconception. Air conditioning also includes the air cleaning because constant exposure to contaminated air creates problems of breathing and allergy. Usually, air-conditioning systems include electronic air filter. These electronic air filters employ electrical charges to catch the irritants and impurities from the air. They are placed between the air ducts and furnace. They enhance the purity of air in the house.
An electronic air-filter's cooling system helps air circulate inside the house. When the air goes into the device or the system, it has to pass through a pre-filter that traps most of the irritants and allergy creating particles. The irritants and impure particles when pushed into the pre-filter are attacked with the electric charge in the filter. These particles are attracted by the collector plates in the filer. Later these particles are cell-cleaned to make them harmless.
Electronic filters usually come in two types- charged media air filters and electrostatic precipitating air filters. In the electrostatic filters, the particles and contaminants are collected on charged plates. While the charged media air filter collects the particles on the fibers in the filters.
The electrostatic filters are the most efficient filters. They knowingly ionize the particles before they are collected. These electrostatic precipitators approximately generate twenty thousand volts. Two tests are generally conducted to test the efficiency of an electronic air filter. These are atmospheric dust-spot test and weight-arrestance test which determine the efficiency of an electronic air filter. When the weight-arrestance test is conducted, it tests the efficiency of the filter on the basis of weight of the removed dust. Nevertheless, the test method does not give an exact idea about the efficiency. In this method, the status of small dirt particles is not known. The second test, which is atmospheric dust-spot, is conducted to determine an air filter's ability to catch particles of the level of 0.3 to 6 microns. This test tells about the efficiency of an electronic air filter. It certifies the capability if an air filter can capture the smallest particles. These smaller particles cause many breathing problems and hence are a priority of the An electronic air filter is made with fibrous pad. It is installed between a grounded screen and an eclectically charged grid. The electrical grid charges the particles that pass through the air filter. These particles are polarized on the fibrous pad. Thus, electronic air filters transform the polluted air into the pure air inside a home. An electronic air filter improves the quality of air indoors. It removes the particles of dust and dirt, making the environment in the home healthy.
